Introducing the Sister2Sister School of Singing Jungle Theme Holiday Workshop!
What is the Jungle Theme Holiday Workshop?
Following the success of our Superstars Circus summer holiday workshop, Sister2Sister School of Singing are back with a new take on our exciting school holiday music program. Founded by ARIA award-winning sisters, Christine & Sharon Muscat, the founding sisters believe singing, music and arts are some of the greatest gifts you can give to a child.
Taking this belief, we’ve created this workshop to keep the kids entertained while school is out. The workshop takes our signature services, integrating our singing, dancing and acting classes into a fun and exciting three-day experience.
Perfect for parents who need to work during the holidays or need some quiet time, our holiday workshop will encourage enrolled children to be creative and have fun while developing their music and acting abilities. There is a themed dress-up party each day and a pizza lunch on the last day of the workshop to wrap it up in style!
This workshop’s theme is the jungle. Think safari or jungle animals. It is time to get loud, pull out those animal onesies or animal print outfits, and dance! We encourage all students to dress up for our fun-filled “Shake it Off” Dance Party at the end of each day.
Who can join the workshop?
Our workshop caters to primary school children. This means it is available to children ages 5-9 years and 10-12 years.
Ran by our certified teachers and tutors who are a core part of our music school in Sydney, our workshop incorporates age-appropriate music and activities that will keep the kids focused and entertained. Our team has years of experience in regularly running classes during the term for children the same age. We definitely know what the kids are into as we like to keep our activities fresh and relevant!
This is perfect for our Sister2Sister School of Singing students but also for any child with an interest in music. We welcome all new and familiar faces to enrol. And if you’re new, we encourage you to invite siblings and friends to enrol to increase the fun!
What is the schedule for the Jungle Theme Holiday Workshop?
Our Jungle Theme Holiday Workshop will be held across three days, April 17-19, 2023.
Kicking off at 9 am each day, the kids will head into our “Act It Out” musical theatre singing, dancing and acting classes. Blending singing, dancing and acting together, is a great way to jump straight into the fun!
Then the kids will move on to our “Sing It Loud” vocal workshop, where they can sing to their heart’s content. Once this is over, it is time for lunch to refuel and rest quickly before the next activity.
Next on the agenda is drama lessons with our “Lights Camera Action” workshop. This is an excellent chance for the kids to show off their acting skills.
Finally, we finish the day with a bang! It is time for our “Shake it Off” Dance Party! We let the kids ‘shake it off’ and dance it out before they go home.
